Why
Do I Get "Blue Screen" Crash Errors? |
Bluescreen error messages can be caused by many things - from corrupted
software device drivers to corrupt Windows installation files to hardware
components that
are going bad like memory chips or hard drives. Even a worn out CD drive can
cause such errors, and many older computers simply have components that wear
out over time requiring either replacement or repair.
Visual Shield was designed
to allow people to save their work so that when Bluescreen errors do
occur - there exists a much greater possibility to save work instead
of having to reboot and redo work that was not saved. Even computers that
run fine most of the time will inevitably receive Bluescreen errors or "Application
Not Responding" errors from time to time. For this reason, it is a good idea
to keep Visual Shield running on any computer that you use - those that do
have continuous problems and those that run fine because Bluescreen errors
and "Application
Not Responding" errors happen to everyone using any version of the Microsoft
Windows Operating System. Visual Shield does not stop blue screen error messages
- it is not a repair program. Visual Shield provides an additional safeguard
to save data when you inevitably receive them. Visual Shield *will* provide
you with further insight of the nature of the error that caused the crash -
see Crash
Definitions.
If your computer continuously crashes - there are programs you
can buy to help you analyze why your computer is having these errors, and
there are of course computer repair shops that can analyze if your computer
actually
has a hardware problem.
